Golden Handcuff

While this started out as a blog devoted entirely to my favorite city, I have since realized that it is too painful to restrain myself from blogging other enthusiasms. While the city is still infinitely various enough to demand a blog to itself (it's not like I was running out of ideas) and while SF will remain a continuing focus of the blog, I am no longer going to restrain myself. The title comes from a quote by John Steinbeck, so if you came here expecting an S&M blog, sorry. Unless indicated, I don't own any of these pictures. If you want to get all jealous and possessive of anything you own, contact me and I'll take it down, although you should actually be crazy flattered that I put you up here. The blog is mostly safe for work, but just as in San Francisco itself, there will be occasional nudity.
